Cats by Burlington Bearties
Jean and Brigette Ball, Mother and daughter have been making bears for more than 13 years. Beginning as teddy bear artists they draw much of their inspiration from antique teddies. After some time they started to make other animals as well. The Burlington Bearties really have a character of their own, caused by their unusual proportions and expressions.
Please note these cats are especially created for collectors and not suitable as a toy for children. All accessories are props unless marked otherwise.
Eli Street is a wonderful female Puss In Boots (yes, they do exist). With her white fur and powdery coloured outfit she makes me think of the ladies from the 18th century with their powdered wigs.
Eli Street is 33 cm, 13”tall. She is made of an extraordinary quality white pluche. This lady cat has green glass eyes, light beige peau de suede innerears and nose. Her face and paws have airbrushed details. Eli Street wears a dark beige felt hat with lilac ostrich feather, a bleige lace collar and a light brown peau de suede belt with pouch. Her exquisite boots are made of pink peau de suede.

Alice Hawthorne promised her mum to keep her white blouse clean when going out to visit her niece. Her mother dressed her on her Sunday's best in a gorgeous white blouse with a pink ribbon and lace collar.
Alice Hawthorne is a one of a kind tabby girl cat by Burlington Bearties. She is 39 cm, 15.5" tall. She is made of brown tipped mohair with airbrushed details. Alice has green glass eyes, an ultrasuede nose and inner ears. Her paws are airbrushed.
She is dressed in a fine blouse made of antique and vintage materials.

Halfpenny is a small version of the famous Pus in Boots. Although he is small there is nothing that his bright blue eyes will miss.
This wonderful little puss is made of extraordinary quality pluche. He has blue glass eyes and light beige peau de suede inner ears and nose. His face and ears have airbrushed details.
He is dressed in a beige felt hat with purple riboon and a purple ostrich feather.
Halfpenny has a purple silky collar and his boots are made of purple peau de suede.

Tosca is a black and white Puss In Boots made by Burlington Bearties of a high quality pluche. She has a white gorget. Her white face has a black mask.
She is dressed in a dark beige felt hat with red details, a white lace collar and dark red peau de suede boots. Tosca has green glass eyes, suede inner ears and a peau de suede nose. She is 33 cm, 13” tall from hat to toe.
